CMPS
Scholarships
The College of Computer, Mathematical and Physical Sciences accepts most merit
and need-based award and scholarship applications on the CMPS Scholarship
Application Form. Students should complete one form only and submit either
electronically or via surface mail. Applicants will be considered for all merit
and need-based scholarships (except The Jeffrey and Lily Chen Scholarship, which
has its own form) administered by CMPS for which they are eligible.
STAND Initiative
The College of Computer, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences has implemented the
S.T.A.N.D. program to address the longstanding national need to increase the
number of underrepresented groups, including Black, Latino/a, Native American
and women in the computer, earth, mathematical and physical sciences.

Terp Online
Terp Online is an online system established to enable students to search,
manage, and maintain job and internship opportunities as they become available.
This database has a wealth of information and resources regarding career
development and planning. There is also information about employers, internship
programs, and career workshops.
Pick-a-Prof
Pick-A-Prof provides students with a set of Academic Tools to aid in making an
educated decision about what courses and professors to take.
Pick-A-Prof is based on the idea that different students learn in different
ways. Taking courses from professors whose teaching style best matches the way
students learn, will maximize their performance in a course. It will also
increase the amount of knowledge retained for future courses allowing students
to build upon the information learned in introductory courses
